Persimmon Tangerine Smoothie
Enjoy the vibrant and nutritious blend of persimmons and tangerines with a hint of vanilla, ginger, and turmeric in this refreshing smoothie.
Ingredients:
- 2 ripe persimmons
- 2 tangerines, peeled and segmented
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 teaspoon ground ginger
- 1/4 teaspoon ground turmeric
- 1 cup yogurt
- 1/2 cup ice cubes
- Honey or maple syrup to taste optional
Instructions:
Peel the ripe persimmons and cut them up
In a blender, put the tangerine segments, ground ginger, ground turmeric, yogurt, and ice cubes
Also add the vanilla extract
Mix until it's creamy and smooth
You can add a little water to get the consistency you want if it's too thick
If you want to make the smoothie sweeter, you can add honey or maple syrup
Place in glasses, top with a tangerine slice or a pinch of ground turmeric, and serve right away
