Pecan Crusted Chicken



Tender chicken breasts with a crunchy pecan crust that have been seasoned with garlic, paprika, and Parmesan cheese and then baked until they are done.

Ingredients:

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 cup pecans, finely chopped
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil

Instructions:

Warm the oven up to 190C 375F

Chop up the pecans and put them in a shallow dish

Add the breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper

First, coat each chicken breast in beaten eggs

Then, cover each breast in the pecan mixture and press it down gently to stick

A skillet that can go in the oven should have olive oil in it

Put the chicken breasts in the pan and cook them for two to three minutes on each side, until they are lightly browned

Place the skillet in an oven that has already been heated up

Bake for 15 to 20 minutes, or until the chicken is fully cooked and the pecans are golden brown
